The name Narada School is taken from the name of a Theravada monk from Sri Lanka, namely Bhikkhu Narada. He came to the archipelago in 1934 and revived Buddhism which had been submerged for more than 450 years in the archipelago since the end of the Majapahit Kingdom era.
Location
Narada School is built on 5000 square meters of land located in the Kosambi Region, with a building area of approximately 8342 square meters. The school was founded by the Foundation (Yayasan Buddhis Theravada Indonesia) on February 2, 2005.
The Theravada Buddhist Foundation of Indonesian consists of 5 monks as the Board of Trustees
