Is Narada School an SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) School?

Yes. Narada School is an SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) school that applies both the Cambridge curriculum and the Indonesian National curriculum. It also stresses on development of high standards of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia.

 

Who established Narada School?

Narada School was established by Foundation (Yayasan Buddhis Theravada Indonesia) and thus it is not a personal school.

Does Narada School have a legal permit from the Government?

Yes. Narada School has a legal permit to run the school for Playgroup, Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High and Senior High School with the accreditation score of A (prominent).

 

Are the school’s activities limited to only Cambridge and National Curriculums?

No. In addition to the achievement of a high standard of knowledge, skill, and morality the school also develop hands-on programs that will prepare the students for life such as school visit, moral development activity, art and music and other activities that will involve parents or other institutions such as universities.

 

How is the Narada Curriculum Implemented?

The school consistently addresses 3 main national subjects: Religion, Civic and Bahasa Indonesia. Subjects other than the above-mentioned are based on the Cambridge Curriculum.

 

Does Narada School have alumnae who go to universities?

Yes. The students study in some prominent universities in Jakarta, Bandung, Tangerang, and abroad such as in Taiwan, China, Germany, the United States, Australia and other countries.

What makes Narada School unique?

Narada School is characterized by small classes with a focus on the development of universal characters under the motto of ‘Bahusacca Sippa Sila’. This motto means the balance of knowledge, skill and morality. This motto is also reflected in the school vision: To become a prominent school focusing on achieving the balance of intellectual abilities, skills, emotional and moral maturity as well as Buddhist morality.

 

How does the school make connections with parents and other institutions?

Narada School pays attention not only to teaching and learning but also to teacher and staff empowerment along with parents and other institutions’ participation. This partnership is conducted through workshops, seminars, and other activities both internally and by inviting experts from other institutions.

Is Narada School an expensive school?

The school fee in Narada School is affordable compared to other schools as the main purpose of the school establishment is to help build qualified generations and not merely pursue profits.

 

Is the enrollment test in Narada School difficult?

No, it isn’t. Narada school prefers to use the term assessment or observation to test. This assessment or observation is used to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the students in learning. When we find out that the student’s assessment results do not match the school’s requirements, we communicate with parents to provide the best solution for the students.

 

What fees need to be paid at Narada School?

In the beginning, the students will pay enrollment fees for the improvement of school facilities. The students also pay for monthly tuition fees to cover the operational costs of the school such as the salary of the teachers and staff, electricity bill, water, internet connection, and other costs related to the teaching and learning process. In addition, the students also pay for books, uniforms, and other expenses.

What facilities are provided for the students at Narada School?

The students are provided with high-standard learning facilities and other facilities. Students are provided with proper insurance while at the school area, professional teachers, proper building, high-quality books and references, adequate internet connection, excellent curriculum, and good communication in Bahasa Indonesia, English and Mandarin. Moreover, the students’ attitudes are nurtured.
